(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – Police in Springfield are looking for a suspect accused of trying to carjack someone.
Police say that on Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m., the man attempted to carjack a victim at the Braum’s on West Republic Road.
He approached the victim with a firearm, demanded the victim get out and give him the keys.
The victim was able to flee in the vehicle and called 911.
The man is about 6-foot tall and in his mid-20s. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a mask, ball cap, long sleeve shirt and brown cargo pants.
