(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – Voters across the Ozarks will head to polls today to cast their ballots on several issues.
Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller said he expects voter turnout to be between 14% – 16%
In Springfield, seven candidates are running for three open positions on the Springfield Public Schools Board of Education.
School board candidates include:
- Danielle Kincaid
- Landon McCarter
- Susan Provance
- Scott Crise
- Kyler Sherman-Wilkins
- Chad Rollins
- Maryam Mohammadkhani
Kincaid, Crise and Mohammadkhani are the three incumbents.
Voters will also decide whether to change the mayor’s term from two to four years.
Polls opened at 6 AM and will close at 7 PM.
