(KTTS News) — A man from Springfield has died after a December 4 crash at the intersection of Fremont and Montclair.
Springfield Police say 90-year-old Kenneth Kerr died on December 9 from injuries he suffered in the crash.
Police say Kerr was in a pickup trying to make a left turn at Fremont and Montclair when a car headed southbound entered the intersection.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.

On Dec. 4, 2023, at 2:19 p.m., officers with the Springfield Police Department responded to a vehicle crash at Fremont and Montclair involving a pickup truck and passenger car.
Rochelle Boothe, 41, from Ozark, was driving a black 2014 BMW 435-I southbound on Fremont at Montclair.
Kenneth Kerr, 90, from Springfield, was turning west onto Montclair from northbound Fremont in a blue 2016 Nissan Frontier.
Both vehicles entered the intersection and collided.
At the time of the crash, Kerr was transported to a medical facility.
On Dec. 13, the Springfield Police Department received notification from the medical examiner that Herr died on Dec. 9 from injuries sustained in the crash.
Kerr’s family has been notified.
The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
This was Springfield’s 27th fatal motor vehicle crash in 2023.
