(KTTS News) — The Highway Patrol has released the name of the pedestrian who died after he was hit Wednesday morning near Chestnut and I-44 in Springfield.
Troopers say 47-year-old James Hamilton from Springfield walked out in front of a pickup near the Flying J truck stop.
Hamilton died at the hospital.
