(KTTS News) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Thayer involving a van, a semi, and a patrol vehicle.
The accident happened Monday morning.
Troopers identified the victim as 29-year-old Joshua Parker of Calico Rock, Arkansas.
Police say Parker’s vehicle was waiting to make a left-hand turn when the Thayer Police Department officer crashed into the back of Parker’s vehicle, knocking it into the path of a semi.
The officer suffered moderate injuries.
The semi truck driver suffered serious injuries.
