(KTTS News) — Utility crews from the Ozarks are headed to Florida as Hurricane Idalia heads for the Gulf Coast.
They include crews from Springfield City Utilities, as well as Carthage and Nixa.
The Missouri Public Utility Alliance says 15 utilities from Missouri and Arkansas will stage in Jacksonville ahead of the storm.
Missouri Task Force One is sending a team of 45 people to Florida soon.
