(KTTS News) — The driver of an Affordable Towing truck led Greene County deputies and Springfield Police on a wild chase through town Monday afternoon.
The company says the driver took the truck on his day off.
The truck was first spotted leaving the scene of a crash at Glenstone and I-44.
The sheriff says the driver was driving recklessly and nearly hit several vehicles along the way.
Deputies believed the driver was under the influence, so they set up spike strips and managed to knock out three of the trucks six tires.
The chase came to an end around Kansas and Walnut.
