(KTTS News) — The Birthplace of Route 66 Festival gets underway this morning in downtown Springfield.
It runs through Saturday.
The Kansas City Chiefs Champion Tour takes place Friday.
It includes a viewing of the Chief’s Super Bowl trophy Friday afternoon from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Springfield Expo Center.
The Great Route 66 Talent search is Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Shrine Mosque.
