(KTTS News) — It’s going to be a dangerously hot and humid day today, with heat index readings approaching 113 degrees in some places.
An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for areas along Interstate 49 west of Springfield.
The rest of the Ozarks is under a Heat Advisory.
There could be a few showers tonight northeast of a line from Clinton to Lebanon to West Plains.
