(KTTS News) — A man from Carthage has been sentenced for a fatal crash that happened last December in Springfield.
Alan Jones was sentenced to spend 120 days in a corrections program and five years probation.
He had pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the crash that killed 57-year-old Rita Deckard from Marshfield.
Prosecutors say Jones was driving 98 miles an hour when he collided with Deckard’s car at I-44 and Glenstone.
