(KTTS News) — Missouri AAA is expecting record travel on the highways for the July 4 holiday weekend.

Nearly 800,000 people are expected to travel on Missouri roads.

The average gas price in Missouri is $3.28 a gallon for regular unleaded.

Springfield is at $3.27 a gallon.

Joplin is at $3.20 a gallon.
