(KTTS News) — One person is dead after a crash on I-44 west of Fidelity.
The Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Cortney Johnson from Sarcoxie died when a semi hit the back of her SUV around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Johnson’s SUV then hit another semi, sending it into a third semi, which then hit a pickup.
Troopers say the crash happened as traffic was slowing down in a congested area.
