(KTTS News) — Showers and storms will move into the Ozarks later today and tonight.
The weather service says strong winds will be the biggest threat from the storms.
There’s a 40-percent chance of storms in the forecast overnight.
The heat index will be in the triple digits on Wednesday.
A thunderstorms complex is expected to develop west of the area later today and this evening, and then push east into the area late tonight. Damaging wind gusts will be the main severe weather risk. #mowx #kswx pic.twitter.com/jCc6PgDsw5
