(KTTS News) — The Nixa school board voted to ban four books during a public hearing last night.
Two of the books – “Blankets” and “Handmaid’s Tale: a graphic novel” — violated a new state law on obscene material in libraries.
The other two – “Something Happened in our Town”, and “Unpregnant” — were on a list submitted by parents to the school’s review committee.
