Brent crude hit a new four-year low on Wednesday before recovering to just under $85 a barrel, as faltering global growth curbed demand for fuel at a time of heavy oversupply. Oil saw its biggest daily fall in more than three years on Tuesday after the West's energy watchdog slashed its forecasts for world oil demand for this year and 2015. Picture taken October 14, 2014. (KTTS News) — Gas prices continue to fall, with drivers in Springfield paying an average of $3.15 for a gallon of gas, down from $3.27 a week ago.

Missouri AAA says the average price for a gallon of unleaded in Missouri is $3.21 a gallon.

Joplin has the cheapest price at $3.02 a gallon.

Jefferson City is the most expensive at $3.32 a gallon.

AAA says gas prices could go back up as demand for fuel grows this summer.
