(KTTS News) — Nixa Police say there are increasing concerns about marijuana poisoning in children.

Police are warning parents to keep marijuana products away from children, putting them out of reach and keeping them in the original packaging.

Many poisoning cases involve edibles, which can be appealing to young children.

Missouri Poison Control says calls for marijuana poisoning in kids five and under have doubled every year since 2018.
