(KTTS News) — There’s a demolition ceremony this afternoon at 2 p.m. in Springfield for the old Fire Station 7 east of Sunshine and Glenstone.

Fire Station 7 was built in 1958.

Crews will start to tear it down this week to make way for a new fire station.

Please join us today at 2 p.m. at 2129 E. Sunshine for a demo ceremony for Fire Station 7, as we make way for the rebuilt station. Park in Viking Apts lot north of the station.
