Meet our newest buddy, Blanche! She is an 8-year-old, Aussie-mix.
She is a very beautiful, kind, mature dog. Blanche is a gentle and loving girl. Which is why it’s so sad when you learn of the trauma she has endured in her life. Unfortunately Blanche has suffered some pretty severe abuse. She has a trauma to her mouth and jaw and she has been hit with bird shot. Her entire body is full of tiny bb pellets. However, this has not affected the kindness of this dog in the least. You will be hard-pressed to find a better family dog than this. She gets along very well with children and other large dogs. She does not do so well with cats or small dogs, as her hunting instincts tend to kick in with smaller animals. Come by and meet Blanche when you visit the Humane Society of Southwest Mo.
