(KTTS News) — Voters in Stone County will see a tax increase for emergency services on the April ballot.
It would bring in about $1.5 million dollars a year to make upgrades to 911 services.
The money would pay for more dispatchers.
It would also make upgrades to GPS technology.
Leaders say this is the first time the county has asked for more money for 911 in 20 years.
