(KTTS News) — A teenager from Nixa is charged with causing a crash last July that killed a nine-year-old boy.
The Christian County Prosecutor says Zachary Fargo was speeding while he tried to get away from a Christian County deputy.
Fargo is charged with second-degree murder, assault, and resisting arrest.
Authorities say he ran a red light at Highway 160 and Northview in Nixa and hit a van.
The crash killed Alex Finley.
Authorities say Fargo was going 117 miles per hour at the time of the crash.
Two people in the van were hurt.
Fargo and a passenger in his car were also hurt.
