(KTTS News) — MoDOT is taking public comments on plans to make upgrades to Chestnut Expressway in Springfield.
The main priority is pedestrian safety.
The $8-million project will include signal improvements, sidewalks, and resurfacing work.
There will be lane closings at times because of the project.
Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2024.
