(KTTS News) — The Bolivar School District wants to raise starting teacher salaries to $40,000 dollars by 2025.
It’s asking voters to raise the district’s operating levy by 25 cents.
The issue will be on the April ballot.
Raising the operating levy would cost someone with a $100,000 home about $4 more per year in taxes.
