(KTTS News) — The Branson police chief and a Branson police sergeant have resigned as part of an internal investigation.
Jeff Matthews had been the police chief since 2018.
Matthews and Sergeant Pat Gray had been on administrative leave since October while an outside organization conducted the investigation.
The city has not released any information about what the investigation was about.
It says it won’t comment on the resignations.
It plans to introduce the new Branson police chief on Thursday.
