(KTTS News) — Springfield City Council has once again tabled a 7-Brew Coffee location at Sunshine and Jefferson.

During Monday’s meeting, the city planning and development director said one of the best ways to deal with any traffic backups in the area would be to build a median on Jefferson.

City staff proposing a new condition be added to the consideration of the conditional use permit requested for a drive-thru coffee shop generally located in the 400 block of east Sunshine. The condition would be the addition of a median on Jefferson.

If a median was installed, drivers could only turn right in or right out on Jefferson.

But to add a median, council would first have to ask the planning commission to add the median condition to the Conditional Use Permit for the business.
