(KTTS News) — Bird flu has been discovered in a commercial turkey flock in Osage County, Missouri.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has taken steps to quarantine the facility and birds on the property have been removed.

The birds did not enter the food supply.

Missouri’s Animal Health Division is working with the USDA on additional surveillance in the surrounding area.
