(KTTS News) — Hunters harvested more than 93,000 deer during the opening weekend of firearms deer season in Missouri.
More than 89,900 deer were taken during the opening weekend last year.
The Missouri Department of Conservation says the most deer were taken in Franklin, Texas, and Callaway counties.
Firearms deer season runs through November 22.
