Authorities have arrested a man who had been on the run for more than a week.
The Laclede County Sheriff says Alex Reed was taken into custody before noon Monday.
Reed was wanted for failing to appear in court on a hit and run charge from 2016.
Investigators say Reed ran a motorcycle driver off the road and the rider did not survive.
U.S. Marshalls helped with the search for Reed.
