A man charged with a deadly shooting at a home in Springfield back in 2018 has been found guilty.
A Greene County jury found Daniel Jay Smith, 32, from Springfield guilty of shooting Marcus Gilbert to death at a home in the 1100-block of north Grant.
Police say the shooting happened after a dispute over an ex-girlfriend.
Sentencing is set for December 3.
