The National Weather Service says all forms of severe weather are possible today.
Meteorologist Jeff Raberding says the main threat will be from strong winds, large hail, and flash flooding.
“The threat is anytime really, I think, from late morning all the way through the early evening hours. And it’s really through the heart of the Ozarks — the Springfield, Joplin, Rolla areas — pretty much the entire area is under that risk.”

Raberding says there’s a low risk for tornadoes, but they can’t be ruled out.
Multiple tornadoes were reported across Kansas and Nebraska Wednesday.
Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued after 11 a.m. Thursday, along with at least one flash flood warning.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 7 p.m. for the entire listening area.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until late Thursday night for counties west of Highway 65.
