The National Weather Service says there have been no confirmed reports of any tornadoes from Wednesday’s storms.
But warning coordination meteorologist Steve Runnels says there have been lots of reports of damage.
Runnels says damage has been reported across Barry, Stone, Christian and Douglas counties.
He says the storms damaged several homes, ripped up trees, and knocked down power lines.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
National Weather Service radar did pick up some possible debris signature from the storm that hit near Sparta that could be from a tornado.
Survey teams plan to check out the damage soon to confirm whether any tornadoes touched down.
