A shooting at an extended stay motel in northeast Springfield leaves one man dead.
Police say it happened early Thursday morning at the Welcome Inn Nightly and Weekly Extended Studios near I-44 and Highway 65.
The victim, who was 26, was from Springfield.
KY3 reports a suspect is in custody.
