Heavy rains overnight forced several area roads to close this morning.
By 8 a.m., rainfall amounts of 2.85 inches in Norwood and 3.1 inches in Ava.
Numerous roads had to be closed because of high water.
The National Weather Service says the rain should move out of the Ozarks by this afternoon.
