One of Springfield’s most highly-recruited athletes, Greenwood’s Aminu Mohammed has decided to play his college basketball at Georgetown.
Mohammed was named Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore and led the Blue Jays to a state title.
At the 2020 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, he became the fifth player in tourney history to score 100 total points over the three-game event.
Mohammed will start his college basketball career playing for Head Coach and Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing, who was another big-time recruit when he chose to play for the Hoyas.
