The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of an officer who died of COVID-19 complications.
Detention Officer Dwight Willis died this morning. Willis has been a long-standing member of the Sheriff’s Office, serving for 19 years.
The Sheriff says he will be greatly missed, and asks the community to keep his family in their thoughts and prayers.
