Greene County tax statements will be coming out a little later this year.

Greene County’s Collector’s Office says it makes it a goal every year to get personal and real property tax notices out in early November. This year, it will be a little late.

Finalizing and delivering assessment data to the County Clerk is still in progress. Greene County Collector Leah Betts says this will push back the mailing of tax statements.

“Anyone who has worked with my office knows we put a premium on customer service, so we want to be as proactive as possible so that residents can plan accordingly,” Betts says. “We are working diligently with all the other county offices and vendors involved in the process to serve the public to the best of our ability within the given circumstances.”
