Several protests are planned today in Branson and Springfield.
A protest at Dixie Outfitters is planned to start at noon. A counter protest is planned at the same location.
A MeToo motorcade is planned in Springfield to start at 1-2 p.m. It will be starting at 3101 S. Glenstone at the former K-Mart Location.
The Juneteenth Freedom walk starts at the City hall Saturday, around 1 p.m., and will head toward commercial street, and then end in northside Springfield. It was originally scheduled for last weekend.
On Sunday, the Police Accountability Sit-In will take place at Park Central Square at 12:30 p.m.
Later on Sunday, the Veterans Back the Blue walk will take place, starting in Park Central Square around 2 p.m. and ending at the Springfield Police Department headquarters on Chestnut Expressway. It is expected to last until 5 p.m.
