The Taney County Health Department Board voted unanimously on Thursday to recommend face masks in all indoor public spaces.
The Health Department cannot enforce decisions they reach.
The decision was made in order to encourage the community to utilize ways of preventing community spread.
COVID-19 cases in Taney County have tripled from May 25th to June 25th.
