The 27-year-old daughter of Hank WIlliams Jr. died in a car crash Saturday night in west Tennessee.
The Paris Post-Intelligencer reports Katherine D. Williams-Dunning of Springville, TN, died from her injuries on Saturday night northeast of Paris.
Her husband sustained serious injuries in the same crash, and was taken to the hospital. There is no word on his condition.
Country Singer Travis Tritt reacted to Williams-Dunning’s death in a post saying, “This news is just heartbreaking. My family and I knew Katie ever since she was a kid. I cannot even imagine what Hank, Mary Jane and the rest of the Williams family are going through right now. Please say a prayer for all of them and share your love any way you can.”
Hank William’s Jr. has not discussed the incident on his facebook or twitter public profiles.
