A bicyclist is seriously injured after colliding with a car in Springfield Tuesday night.
Police responded to the crash on Chestnut near Main close the U.S. Post Office around 7:30 p.m.
Witnesses at the scene say the man didn’t stop at the light before trying to ride across Chestnut when he was hit.
People in the car helped the man before officers and medics arrived.
