Over two thousand protesters gathered Saturday to protest police brutality and Springfield Police say the planned event ended without incident.
The protest began around 3 p.m. and continued until 7 p.m., with demonstrators marching in support of the victims of police brutality.
While two people were arrested during that time, neither person was protesting.
Springfield Police thanks drivers for being patient while roads were blocked off Saturday afternoon.
