Governor Parson says help is on the way for first responders who have the coronavirus.
The ruling makes first responders eligible for unemployment if they get sick.
Parson says that’s something responders wouldn’t ordinarily be able to qualify for because its hard to prove they got the virus while on the job.
The Department of Labor says people who need to file for unemployment should go to the state website.
