(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – Two people were arrested on Monday after a car chase and a shooting that ended near Mercy Hospital.
The incident started with a disturbance between two people over a stolen Mustang.
The owner of the stolen Mustang chased down the vehicle in a truck and fired shots at the driver.
The chase ended at Fremont Avenue and Cherokee Street.
The driver of the stolen Mustang was arrested for tampering, and the owner of the stolen Mustang was arrested for the unlawful use of a weapon.
Nobody was injured during the altercation.
