(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – Several hundred City Utilities customers are currently without power following a storm that passed through on Monday.

More than 1,700 customers in northwest Springfield are experiencing power outages this morning. Additionally, 120 customers near Webster Park and 40 customers in south Springfield are also affected.

CU has reported that a tree branch fell onto power lines on Division Street.

GoPatrol spotters have also observed that the traffic signals at Kansas and Division are flashing red.

It’s uncertain when the power will be restored.
