(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – The Logan-Rogersville Fire Protection District rescued a woman from the James River near the Joe Crighton Access.
The incident happened on Wednesday.
According to reports, the woman became exhausted while swimming and was unable to swim back due to the current.
When crews arrived, they found the woman clinging to a tree branch in the water.
Crews were able to deploy a boat and were able to save her.
