(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – A Webster County man was convicted of five counts of statutory rape.

31-year-old Alan Keith Gilliam was found guilty on all five counts of statutory rape he faced in connection with multiple sexual encounters with a girl when she was between the ages of 12-17.

Court documents show the victim went to the Webster County Sheriff’s Office after she was an adult to relate details she had recently remembered after attending therapy.

Gilliam will be sentenced on June 10, 2024.

Six of the other seven defendants have pleaded guilty and sentenced. Charges against the seventh were dropped.
