(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) -An Ava man was arrested Monday on three counts relating to the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials.
48-year-old Larry Morrison was charged with two counts of second-degree possession of more than 20 pictures or videos of child pornography and one count of first-degree promotion of child pornography.
An investigation confirmed that Morrison possessed over 2,800 images and over 150 videos of child sexual abuse materials.
A search warrant was conducted on Morrison’s residence on March 18th at 9 AM.
During the search, officials seized electronic devices that store digital media from the residence, which will be transferred for digital forensic examination.
Morrison was taken into custody and sent to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
Morrison was not granted any bond and is a prior felony offender.
