(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – A man from Springfield has pleaded guilty to hitting and killing a woman on his motorcycle last year.
56-year-old Rodney Shires was sentenced on Thursday for killing 59-year-old Sandra Brown.
Shires was sentenced to four years.
According to police, Brown was walking across Fremont Avenue when Shires hit her and then fled the scene.
Shires told police that he was “freaked out” and that’s why he fled the scene.
