(Springfield’s News Talk 104.1) – The Camdenton Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with a Monday night shooting.
Police say the shooting happened on March 4 on Lakeview Drive.
Police have arrested 39-year-old Aaron Michael Ethridge.
Ethridge is charged with 1st-degree assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm in the shooting.
Police say Ethridge and the victim did not know each other.
Police say the victim was walking along Highway 54 when his fishing pole struck the van Ethridge was driving and broke one of the windows.
Ethridge pulled over and then shot the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital.
Police were able to identify Ethridge and arrest him without incident.
