(KTTS News) — Nixa Police are investigating after a woman was found dead Wednesday night.
Police were called to 916 North Fort Ct. in Nixa for a disturbance.
While on the way, the call was updated to a report of shots fired/suicide.
Sarah Nichols, 30, from Nixa was found dead outside the home.
One person was taken into custody, but no charges were filed.

At 6:23pm on January 31, 2024 Nixa Police were dispatched to a call for a disturbance at 916 N Fort Ct. in Nixa.
While officers were in route, the call was updated to a report of shots fired/suicide.
Nixa officers arrived on scene at 6:28pm and found Sarah Nichols, 30-year-old female from Nixa, deceased outside the home.
Nixa Police are actively investigating the circumstances of her death.
We have detained one person of interest, but no charges have been filed at this time.
