(KTTS News) — The state conservation department is asking for your help finding the person who shot and killed a bald eagle near Salem.
It was found January 18 in a pasture off Highway K, west of Highway Z and Dent County Road 6180.
A neighbor reported hearing a gunshot.
Bald eagles are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.
